Due to the Stay At Home order from the UK Government I have finally had time to submit a review for my Music Commander Desk! Not only is this a great looking desk, it's really functional and I keep finding useful little spaces to put my array of music making equipment. I've actually found that putting the keyboard stand at a right angle to the main desk gives me even more space for my gear and my legs to stretch out during long studio sessions!
The best desk I ever had. It boosted my productivity significantly and I feel inspired making music.
It's so much better now. The desk quality is outstanding, and the support from the studio desk team is great.
The desk has plenty of space to host a full 88 keys controller, and the racks I need.
I am now thinking to get one Xtreme desk for my CG Workstation!

This is a well designed, heavy duty desk. My wife and I worked together to put it all together in about 3 hours, including moving the pieces in from the garage.
The same size machine screws are used on every bracket on each of the three major components, so no time is lost looking for the right part; they are all the same! Having the internally threaded barrel nuts already installed in the desk panels made for an easy assembly: just line up the holes on the angle bracket with the threaded barrel nuts, set the threaded bolt (screw) and hit it with the powered screwdriver and you're done! The machining was very accurate. We had no problem with the fit of the panels. The fit and trim of the whole system was perfect.
Overall, this is a very strong, durable and highly functional studio desk that is strong enough to handle a full load of gear in the racks and on the top shelf. Someone spent a lot of time thinking through every aspect of this product. (In the picture below, not all of my gear is installed in the racks yet - still need to rack mount power conditioner and expansion panel, smart TV for use as a monitor, laptop, rack mount PA mixer and audio interface, etc.; but rest assured, all racks will be full when I get it done!)
This desk has really helped consolidate my equipment and eliminate the clutter in my small music room. I would highly recommend it to anyone who needs an attractive, solid studio desk.
This desk is well engineered and is made with quality materials. Easy to put together and I did it myself! It has heavy peices but was easy to follow the video instructions. Great look and very happy with the purchase. Proud to have in my studio!
Very sleek, nice looking and high quality desk. Easy to assemble (aside from it's weight); instructions were clear and everything was packaged very carefully and clever.
Beware: This desk is absolutely massive! Weighs a ton, make sure you have help assembling it. Once it is put together you will understand why it is so heavy though: It is incredibly sturdy and solidly built. I can "hammer" away as hard as I can at my keyboard and this desk won't move at all.
No more wobbly desks when playing at my 88 key hammer action. Solid as a rock! Highly recommended. (Just be prepared to have achy muscles for a while :)
